*It’s vitally important that our team continually develop their expertise, but we don’t believe in telling them what to learn. It’s their career and they should manage it themselves. So our tax consultants receive an annual allowance to enhance their technical tax knowledge, which they can use individually or pool with colleagues to learn collectively – for example by hiring a QC specialising in complex share schemes, mergers and acquisitions.
